Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch.
This is generally a hands-on technique, however, it may also be performed a couple of inches above the body if required. The practitioner will apply very light touch to the client’s body in different positions. The client lies down fully clothed and receives the energy. Improving the flow of energy around the body enables to release stress and tension from body and mind, offers relief from pain and discomfort, balances emotions, improves quality of sleep, promotes harmony and balance.
The session is complemented with Tibetan bowls. As the sound travels through the body, it creates a movement that can loosen up emotional blocks allowing them to leave, loosen up tight muscles and dislodge constant chatter in the mind.
